This is absolutely outrageous. I was at Delaney Hall shortly after this incident. There were masked ICE agents there. Why masked? Because they don't want anyone to know the identities of the agents who assaulted an 80 year old congresswoman. www.axios.com/2025/05/10/t...
Trump administration threatens to arrest House Democrats over ICE facility incident

Last stop on my 19-county rural tour: Isanti County!

I stopped by the Braham Food Shelf and met the incredible staff and volunteers who help get food and essentials to people in the community.

We must support their critical work to feed families in need.

As the judge said in his ruling: “The Constitution does not tolerate willful disobedience of judicial orders — especially by officials of a coordinate branch who have sworn an oath to uphold it.”

If the Administration ignores his ruling, he can hold them in contempt.

Pope Francis dedicated his papacy to creating a more inclusive, loving, and equitable Catholic Church. My heart is with all of those who found faith, community, and hope under his leadership. He was a pillar of progress for the Catholic community and the world. May he rest in peace.

Pope Francis was a moral leader who challenged the powerful and lifted up the poor. When he spoke to Congress in 2015, I was struck by his call for compassion, justice, and stewardship. His legacy will live on in that message—it's needed now more than ever. May he rest in peace. Pax vobiscum.

I’ve been to every Republican swing district in NY to stand with the people who'll be hurt by the cuts their representatives are trying to enact to Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security so they can give tax breaks to their billionaire buddies.

We are going to keep up this fight.

For years, two Capital Region landlords illegally refused to rent to New Yorkers with Section 8 vouchers.

Today, we put an end to their unlawful discrimination. Access to safe and affordable housing is a human right, and I will always protect it.

I’m on the road for the Social Security Day of Action. A million Minnesotans (many of them in rural) depend on social security for their income. They’ve earned it. They should be able to keep it. This Adminstration is closing field offices & making it HARDER to get benefits.
