Back at work tomorrow after a long-awaited week off after a particularly busy and intense project and the final HDD left in my PC has decided to fail.
Thankfully nothing of significant important was lost, but I have limited access to the drive and will salvage what I can anyway. Such fun!

To those commuting by car in cold weather, remember to avoid using hot water to de-ice. You risk cracking your windscreen due to the sudden temperature change. Instead, use room temperature water or water straight from the tap. If it's not below zero outside you'll get the same results.

Earlier, my work MacBook decided it didn't enjoy being disconnected from my monitor and went on strike, allowing me to only move my cursor and not interact with anything nor use the keyboard at all.

Pretty sure I was sat opposite my MP on the Tube this morning. Sadly, casual verbal communication between strangers is banned on the Tube during rush hour - as per the London Commuters' Agreement 2008 - so I was unable to thank her for her work.

I despise when operating systems bring alert boxes front and centre while you're typing something, so if you hit Return or Space you dismiss, confirm or deny it without getting a chance to read the prompt. PITA.

Migraines are never fun, but that was probably one of the worst I've had in a long time and definitely the most sudden. What a horrible way to start the week!
