One time, I said to a group I was running D&D for that life stuff was making it too hard for me to run a game, and that I'd have to cancel it, and then half the group used that as a reason to complain about everything they didn't like about it (and hadn't told me about) and then flounce off.

Since starting transition, I've constantly felt weird about things like Pride Month. I don't really feel like I belong. For a long time I thought it was something like imposter syndrome, and that is a component of it, but the answer is sadly simple. I don't feel proud.

It's important to hold people to account, including transgender people, but I don't think that should include deadnaming them. I saw a video recently where it happened (in this case, their deadname in an image), and it bothered me that no one else commenting on the video saw anything wrong with it.
