Samuel Alito flew two flags used by insurrectionists.

Clarence Thomas' wife plotted to overturn the 2020 election.

Both justices refused to recuse themselves from SCOTUS cases related to the January 6th plot.

It's a stain on our nation that this has effectively been forgotten.

On a Lunar kick again which has me looking at the mess that was Dragon Song.

Like the "running drains HP" thing is salvageable. Just pad starting HP a bit so players can get used to it before making it threatening.

The whole Valour/Combat mode thing tho, just lol.

The confusion and conflation of ‘generative ai that is built on stolen artwork’ and ‘machine learning, character behaviour modelling and proc gen’ is intentional on the part of the grifters peddling the former. They benefit from murkiness of classification, because the latter predates their bollocks

When of the things I hope to see when the AI hype bubble finally pops... is that we can stop grouping so many technologies together under the general "AI" label so we can finally get some fucking clarity.

A lot of people, especially ~us critics~, don’t like to acknowledge how much personal life context factors into whether you like a game or not. We’re not objective machines! Sometimes you’re having a shitty time all around and might hate something you’d otherwise enjoy.
I wish more people were open to doing this. Sometimes ur just not in the right head space afor a game. I’ve revisited games id earlier gave up on and added all time favorites to my list. I mean sometimes ur right the first time, but it’s worth the risk. 😂

so many queer FNAF fans are also insanely creative

use that

make a better scary mascot game or comic or whatever, make what you enjoyed out of FNAF into something that isn't FNAF, make it a middle finger to Cawthon and bigots
FNAF/Scott Cawthon should not be supported in any way.

Don't buy/stream his games, give money to the franchise, watch the movies, etc.

He uses his gains FROM FNAF to support harmful legislature and candidates on the right.

Which is bad, yes? Stop supporting him. He deserves nothing.

For some reason I've been thinking about Code Geass again these past couple days. I should rewatch it.

One of the things that I kinda love about it is how ripe for fix-it fics it is. And the show's most "diabolus ex machina" moments fit the narrative themes well, so it's hard to fault them.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

Rape fantasies have been a thing forever.

In a sexually repressed society they're about sordid desires the MC isn't *allowed* to express. The aggressor gives the MC that option; 'it wasn't my choice so I can't be blamed.'

This isn't new. It's practically ancient. And easily understood.
These actions, in real life, are clearly sexual assault. But within fiction, they become something different.

Its a really disingenuous thing to assume everybody who enjoys this kind of fiction does so from the perspective of the dominant character.

Crazy thought:

People should be allowed to be messy and complicated, especially with regards to their exploration of their sexual identity(s).

FICTIONAL stuff should especially be allowed to be messy.

It honestly tells you a lot about people when they value the 2nd Amendment significantly over the 1st.

Prior to 2015, I used to think that within the scope of US politics at least, that fundamentally everyone at least wanted our nation and people to prosper. I naively thought that although it was challenging, it was possible through just compassion & reason to find a better way.
