United has fifth-freedom rights to sell tickets for just the HKG-BKK/SGN legs thanks to the Pan Am Pacific assets it bought in 1986.

Fun fact, in the late noughties I used those rights to buy a ticket (and fly) HKG-SGN the last time United flew the route.

The carrier will fly daily to both BKK and SGN from HKG beginning in October, providing onward connections from SFO/LAX.

SFO-ADL will also fly from 11 December, operating 3x weekly.

United Airlines will begin flying to Kaohsiung, Taiwan (KHH) starting July 11.

Flights will operate daily from Tokyo (NRT) to Kaohsiung (KHH) using a 737-800:

• UA837 Depart NRT 5:30 PM Arrive KHH 9:00 PM
• UA838 Depart KHH 10:25 AM Arrive NRT 3:15 PM

NEW: Air Canada will bring back its passenger Boeing 767-300ER from retirement and deploy the aircraft to the following cities from Toronto (YYZ):
