Our biases are easily explained by a crowd booing the refs overturning a goal when the shooter's foot was clearly in the crease (UNDENIABLY, like, he made contact with the keeper) in before the ball even left his stick.

NEW info on shipwreck attack. It gets worse.

The 2 survivors climbed atop wreckage and waved to overhead.

"Some of the people viewing the video thought ... could have been an attempt to surrender"

Others "said the most logical explanation was ... signaling for a rescue."

This is some weird shit. This is the only way to describe it.
Usually, re-dedication ceremonies are held in broad daylight, with pomp and circumstance and a heads up to the press to cover said event with smiling politicos and speechless honorees….not marked with a “hey! look what we did when no one was looking!” tweet after business hours.

Again: Trump never cared about drugs. Just like republicans don’t care about the debt.

It’s about power, corruption, and tax cuts. Whatever benefits him/them personally.

Follow the money.

The assignment prompt clearly listed the point breakdown, the student ignored it and wrote something completely different, the instructor very diplomatically explained the rubric again and why it earned no points.

OU just released a statement that they've put the instructor on administrative leave.

I cannot express how enraged this makes me.

Our institutions are so fucking *gleefully* naive whenever a wannabe conservative celeb decides to ruin an instructor's live.

I had hoped OU had improved on protecting trans students + employees since my time there, but unfortunately appears not.
