Checked out this manga after hearing of it here. It's really common that gender-bender manga vaguely wave at trans ppl as "oh they exist but that's some other shit", with vague allusions to SRS

working a comedy show. both the openers no-showed, so my coworker (not a comedian) got on stage, had the sound guy intro him with a godsmack song, read a chaucer poem in middle english, then said "well, that's my time," and introduced the headliner. bravest thing i've ever seen. very high-concept.
