The authoritarianism is real but at their core they’re just pathetic losers as people.

MAGA influencer Benny Johnson received a wave of mockery Tuesday for a video he posted from Portland, Oregon that praised Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem for the way she "stare[d] down Lan] army of Antifa" that was shown in the video to be about a dozen reporters and protesters, including one guy in a chicken costume.

Not all of what people use the term for is LLMs/generative, but it keeps getting lumped in with LLMs/generative, when there are lots of really good uses for machine learning that isn’t generative in nature, and all this “AI is bad!” is going to cause pointless opposition to non-generative tools.

I almost put The Ring on here purely for the absolutely terrifying moment I legit had when I went to watch the video itself in the DVD extras and the disc was coded to not respond to the buttons on your remote so you couldn’t stop it once you started it.

Tron was about coming to grips with your own creation/responsibility to it &the world & how those can be at odds, as well as figuring out what you’re worth to yourself. The sequels have been about cool music & neon. There’s a reason they don’t work. They don’t commit to saying anything not surface.
