I'm not really sure if I buy the argument that nationalized healthcare would stifle innovation.
Our military is nationalized, and we sure as shit innovate with how to make deadlier, more lethal, weapons.

Lots of discourse regarding being pro-Daylight Savings Time seems to be the idea that everyone would be fine with the sun setting at 5pm. As if that would not relegate millions of people to never see the sun an healthy amount whatsoever if they work 40 hours a week.

In 2022 I remember asking my nonbinary friend why they were pushing for womxn and neopronouns and they really couldn't even provide a reason aside from that it was just the new thing.

My feeling about AI is that it can be mistaken for human intelligence, not because it CAN think and reason and understand, but because most humans CAN'T, and merely assemble related words and concepts together into a vast memeplex -- just like LLM AI.

i cant get into boxing or other fighting sports because there doesnt seem to be any sort of consistent playing time or regular league of players. just like, people who pick fights with each other? and it seems like every few years you do one fight, sorta cringe.
