You would think a 79 year old man would know the difference between receiving an award that is deserved and taking an award by extortion.

The latter is the opposite of "an honor."

YIKES! Duckworth asks Hegseth to name a country that's in ASEAN. He names three -- none of which are in ASEAN.

Isn't it odd that the United States has enough money to suddenly run Venezuela, but not enough to run our own country?

There is always cash in the piggy bank for bombs to kill people, but never for healthcare to keep them alive.

Spot on in @atrupar.com’ s PN:

“We have the foreign policy of a personalist dictatorship” — and the dictator’s personal preference is to watch TV shows in which the US military blows things up at his whim. What could go wrong? Unfortunately, we’re about to find out.

The US is illegally attacking another nation for no reason other than the mental and character defects of our President and his aides. Our military is carrying out those strikes apparently without hesitation. What we are doing is indefensibly, undeniably and deeply wrong.

I would wager that the actual reason why no prior sitting president has apparently ever taken the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test, is that no prior president or VP since the test's creation in 1996 has ever engaged in behavior that is as suggestive of cognitive impairment as Trump has.
Trump again says his health is “PERFECT” and claims he “ACED” his third straight cognitive exam, a test given by doctors to detect signs of dementia

A year ago, I thought that Trump and the GOP were going to use bogus deficit cutting rhetoric as a smokescreen for attacking the social safety net, and that Trump would end up being an early lame duck. 1/
