We “nonleaders” must also be vigilant in having our voices heard and presence felt in increased numbers at peaceful, nonviolent protests. Silence is not acceptable, as that equates to approval of our democracy deteriorating into autocracy.
We aren't on a slippery slope to a constitutional crisis. We are IN the crisis. Time for leaders - political leaders, business leaders, civic leaders - to pick a side: democracy or autocracy?
