After some digging, I found the six-year-old video of Senator Fischer being sworn in by Mike Pence, with her husband by her side. As expected, he gleefully shook Pence’s hand twice and thanked him for his leadership. His refusal to shake VP Harris’s hand today confirms my suspicions of bigotry.

FWIW, I think a good man right wingers DO believe that the FBI has been mean to Trump (it's a key part of what @lolgop.bsky.social and I have been laying out in our Ball of Thread series--how Trump came to con all of them, starting when Kash convinced them the Steele dossier=RU investigation.
Nobody is required to pretend GOP Senators actually believe it when they say Trump is picking Kash Patel to "reform" the FBI in any meaningful sense. It's a lie. Republicans know Trump is only picking him to target enemies and they should be hounded on this point.
