Raskin: What makes somebody a good lawyer?

You have to identify with the people who are the victims of injustice — not with their perpetrators.

So I would say to Pam Bondi: If you’re going to stand with the victimizers and not the victims, then you’re not a real lawyer.

“The lesson of all the ages on this point is, that a wrong done to one man, is a wrong done to all men. It may not be felt at the moment, and the evil day may be long delayed, but so sure as there is a moral government of the universe, so sure will the harvest of evil come.” happy bday F. Douglass

Was just thinking it was about time for Ross to awkwardly misrepresent and mangle something. He does not disappoint, as per usual. Murder is a “debacle”, eh?

Something important to understand about ICE thugs in the Twin Cities is that they're harassing innocent kids and parents at bus stops and schools every single day. Even after the Pretti shooting. It's terrorism.

Bari Weiss is presenting her plans to the CBS staff today. Weiss quite famously live tweeted a contentious internal meeting at the Times in 2020. I wonder if she thinks her employees are entitled to do the same thing now?

I don't know how many times we will be told by the legacy media that Trump is moderating or backing off only to then see he is worse than ever. He is an authoritarian. He enjoys the cruelty. And the first thing he had Pam Bondi do after the shooting was to try to leverage it to get the voter files.

We finally have them clearly on the defensive.

If you've been waiting around for the right moment, this is it. This is where we build the pressure.

You know there's momentum when 50501 is willing to endorse events at detention centers.
