I think Sigourney Weaver’s performance in Alien (‘79) is so iconic. That scenes where she’s talking to Muther was amazing to me. I loved it!

Weren’t. Episode 3… and it’s gonna be one of the misses, but I like that Buffy isn’t defined by the killing thing. She’s trying to do shit.
Her hands catching fire must be SO PAINFUL! Hand skin is so thin! It like fuses together and prevents normal functioning without surgery and lots of PT!

No episode 1 was great! And if TV epics I watched are the be the standard (the X-Files) season 2 is always where it irons out the narrative kinks… though Buffy might be more consistent than the X-Files was.
