2025 watch #834: The Raven (1963)

Man, they were extrapolating some nonsense that wasn't in the poem, but it was fun, especially Peter Lorre as the raven, and the Egg Shen/Lo Pan fight between Vincent Price and Boris Karloff.
A man slumps against a wall, having fainted, as a woman tends to him, a look of horror on her face as a pudgy man with bulging eyes squats behind her.

And today I am back to being hopeful, politically speaking. Economically, not so much.
His tariffs are unconstitutional and I am trying to figure out why and how they're being implemented.

The only enemy within is this fucking regime.
Especially the one in the WH that is making it look gaudy.

I don't feel sorrt for Comey, but it is injustice what is going on with him. And I am suspect that they would fake evidence.
It's a trial run to go after other perceived political enemies.

In honor of Edgar Allan Poe's 176th deathday, here are a few of my recent pieces inspired by Poe's works 🫀
Illustration by Abigail Larson depicting a scene from Edgar Allan Poe's poem "Annabel Lee". Two lovers embrace at the edge of the sea, water splashes around them and the surrounding rocks. A full moon shines over them, and storm clouds loom.

The public has a right to know how ICE is planning to expand its network of detention centers — especially when these centers hold thousands of our neighbors and loved ones in inhumane and unconstitutional conditions.

Those of us who insist calling the GOP "Nazis", know that when history tells this story, they will be synonymous.
So if I say GOP now, at this point it means the same.
The trajectory of this party was obvious for the last 50+ years.

The other members of the regime are vying to be successor to the orange motherfucker.
They are competing to see who can be more fascist.
