April 2025! My favorite photo of this month has to come from my angel aurora series from a late season substorm I captured at Þingvellirvatn. And that's saying a lot b/c we had a volcano that month too.

Can you believe this was photographed by iPhone?

I'm featuring my favorite photo from each month for the final six days of 2025. Up first: January.

This one isn't technically perfect. It's out of focus. I was running, with an iPhone, in the cold. But it was such a core memory. From the New Years Day aurora substorm.

Time again to share the incredible and poingant "Christmas Tree" by James Merrill. Written during what he knew would be his last illness as he was looked after by friends and family.

The Christmas Tree nebula!

I thought this green look at this gorgeous star nursery was perfect for the season. It also kinda looks like The Grinch!! 😃Wishing all who celebrate a sweet, peaceful, fun and yummy Christmas season!

I would be shocked if a democratic elected official says a thing about the cbs censorship. Democrats see no utility in pushing those narratives.

No painting. No digital tricks. Just physics, timing, and the quiet power of the universe at work 🌌

Nature painted this moment itself, as charged solar winds collided with Earth’s atmosphere and unfurled the aurora into what looks like glowing wings across the night sky ✨

I am convinced in the future we will look back and realise the sheer unimaginable folly of letting a virus that can cause immune dysregulation and cognitive dysfunction in humans infect and re-infect the global population over and over again. Worse still, that we encouraged it.
