We’ll get fewer new languages, frameworks, and libraries now; which is probably music to some people’s ears. Flip side is devs are investing less energy in readability and complexity management.
People would rather use LLM black boxes to unpredictably unreliably spew boilerplate than design cleanly expressive programming languages which do not require such boilerplate.
