Hi! I’m Jeff, a learning designer, adjunct prof, PhD pursuer, and gamer (W’haha Tia in FFXIV).
I manage a small team of IDs and teach a class on narrative, digital media, and learning. My research focus is, ostensibly, narrative design in game-based learning.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

Do you know how beloved that guy used to be and how loathed he is now? I think that right there should answer your question.

For me this is easily “What Video Games Have to Teach Us About Learning and Literacy” by James Paul Gee; absolutely opened my eyes and mind to the world of game-based learning, I don’t know if I’d be in my PhD program had I not read this book.

For me this is easily “What Video Games Have to Teach Us About Learning and Literacy” by James Paul Gee; absolutely opened my eyes and mind to the world of game-based learning, I don’t know if I’d be in my PhD program had I not read this book.

So, listen, call Schumer’s office no matter where you live, no matter if you’re registered to vote. Leave a voicemail that says if Senate Dems cave without an ACA premiums fix, you will never vote for or donate to another Senate Democrat as long as he is Leader
