Apparently Mum's stuck for words on her new account pffft. Well I'm Broc a 15mth old collie and she's Mum and ancient at 59 pheeeww. We love life, politics, @mrjamesob.bsky.social and go on Motorhome adventures, and don't tell her but I'm really really lucky to be her boy. Stop in and say hi.

We put our Christmas window display up last night. Every night in December windows will light up in our street in our Xmas Advent Calendar display.
Apologies for crap camera work.

I'm actually pleased that I ended up having the op in Finland. I was in a brilliant hospital and the leading surgeon was excellent. Apparently one of the top ones in his field there. They managed to put the ends of my bowels together successfully, so I never had a stoma bag.

They should maybe do some Ads showing the updated method. It's so much easier, and - I've been doing the screening from when it was first piloted, yearsnyears ago and I'm not squeamish but surely the new way wd be fine even for those that are, if they saw how neat and easy it is.

Thank you! It's not actually cold sores, just very dry lips, but I'll bear that in mind for the next eruption 😄

Now I'm officially retired, I needed something to fill the days, so a shed, wood and tools keeps me more than busy.
Also have an archery club down here on Tuesdays, Friday club in the pub in the afternoon and mens shed nearby if I ever find the time to actually attend. Not enough hours in the day.

Wonderful! I'm glad you are keeping well.

As for not enough hours in the day, I have a solution:

There's a story behind this. So, I wondering how the hell i could make a spider, and whilst oot walking the dog earlier, I saw a bedraggled spider, one googly eye missing lying at the side of the road.
Took it home, dried it out and gave it 2 new eyes.
Must have been fate smiling upon me.

@blazespage.bsky.social Woo hoo, it's arrived. Absolutely delighted Uncle Steve. What an amazing hunk of wood, I was so excited opening the box as I don't get many parcels, but Mum says the wood's not for eating 😡.

Loving it Steve, it'll have pride of place in the Beast once back on the road. Hxx
