The legal setup is incredibly shady. Finance, contracts, property, immunities, they all of it flow from the Chairman’s authority. There are no external checks, and even dispute resolution ends with the Chairman’s own interpretation. There is effectively zero rule-of-law accountability.

Even the Executive Board is hand-picked (and removable) by the Chairman. It exists to signal global stature, not to provide checks and balances. Since the Chairman can veto them retroactively, this is just credential signalling, not actual delegation of power.

Every decision needs the Chairman’s (Trump) sign-off. They can veto anything, set the agenda, renew memberships, and even dissolve the body. There’s no independent counterweight, majority rule here is just a procedural formality.
