Trods al den snak om krise for mænd og maskulinitet, er realiteten at vi stadig er langt fra ligestilling.

But they cling into the careers, consumption, and inflated house prices, that keep themselves stressed and overworked, and migrants and rural folks poor (and equally overworked, without any of the social prestige) - and which ruins the world we inhabit everywhere.

Western European urbanites already envy and romanticize rural, peripheral lives when on holidays in Greece, Sardinia, or Dalmatia, or the sociality of migrant communities when they are invited to a wedding. >

Their ways of life don't conform to the "(Western) European Way of Life", and they are judged for it. This standard is arrogant and harmful, and sucks up the resources that peripheral, marginalized, and rural people need.

Plenty of Europeans especially in the East and South don't partake in this mode of life because they are poor, and often live more traditional peasant/small town lives. The same with Europeans of migration background >

I want to be clear: it's an abusive system, I don't think the system should work this way. But you have millions of people paying into the tax system and not collecting.
