Is briseadh mór croí dom an scéal a chloisteáil faoi bhás Mhanchán Magan ar maidin. Thug sé beocht agus brí nua don teanga trína chuid oibre ag léiriú gur lionsa eile í an Ghaeilge leis an domhan a fheiceáil agus a thuiscint.

Ok. They’ve pissed me off.

I’m back to tell you 3 things about ID cards:

1. Migrants ALREADY HAVE biometric ID cards & govts have been trying to digitise them for years w repeated fuckups & failures causing complete chaos - they don’t work, you do not want that system for you.

Yep. Arrested them for just long enough for the parade to complete, then they said “whoops, sorry” and let them go without charge. It’s such bullshit.

Yeah this is the one that most recently stands out to me. Just arresting people for completely bullshit made up reasons and holding them until after the event.

Interesting, thanks Melody.

Legally challenging the individual officers doing this, rather than the CC of TVP, would almost certainly have an effect.

It's well established that individual officers have to conclude areest or other action is necessary. That just following orders thing again.

🚨Watch as police confiscate van showing Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump in Windsor amid the US president's state visit
bullivant.bsky.social
Exactly. Presumably the objective is to get it off streets so as not to 'upset' Trump (the big man baby) and worry about the rest later. The rest including presumably legal action against the police followed by rapid capitulation and settlement.

Conor McGregor can't stand he needed 20 Irish MP's to nominate him.

He got 0, nobody, diddly squat, he hasn't dropped out.

He has been thrown out.

Musk fulfils every definition needed to be classified as a foreign terrorist and a promoter of terrorism in the UK. He, his hate-filled platform, and all his companies need to be banned. Why are people still buying cars from him knowing that they are funding fascism?

Not only has Starmer said nothing about yesterday’s march, his official account has put out a statement *on X* this morning about financial investment in Britain. Dismal.

Elon, speaking at the Tommy Robinson march today: “This is a government against the people and not for the people, this is why everyone is gathered here today…we don’t have another four years…there’s got to be a dissolution of parliament”

And the government just…continues to use X.

An antisemite shot two kids in Colorado, at least one of whom is Jewish.

The White House “fighting antisemitism” doesn’t care, because the shooter was a student radicalized online into far right beliefs, which the regime is cool with, rather than a student verbally criticizing Israeli govt policy.
‘Radicalized’ Evergreen High School shooter appeared to hold antisemitic, violent views in online accounts
Social media accounts that appear to be connected to the 16-year-old shooter are littered with references to mass shootings and antisemitic views, The Denver Post found.

There's very good money in being a right-wing hate monger.

We really need to be pointing that out a lot more. It's a path to wealth for quite a few people on both sides of the Atlantic in the age of politainment.
