Elsewhere she has 'quiet' reading rooms and 'louder' reading rooms, one for intense work and the other for funsies or more collaborative sessions. Honestly, it's pretty great.

Yeah, it's pretty messy here...the (mostly Catholic church) still running most schools also makes most secondary schools single sex, which may be all you get offered, place-wise, even if you actively don't want it. You can opt your kid out of religion, but it's still everywhere.

Ireland gets lots of things wrong (housing costs/shortages, childcare costs/shortages), but sometimes it gets things right such as the BAI, free HRT, free contraceptives for women, trans people and non-binary people up to the age of 35, minimum wage etc
