This is just one example, but this story is the perfect example of why mediocre white guys are against DEI and this is the “American Dream” they’re trying to preserve. This is the “western culture” they want to protect, and anti-discrimination laws and policies destroy that.

Generative AI has filled me with such loathing I don't know if I can even appreciate CGI as much as I used to. The Luddite in me wants to go back to the days of movies having practical effects; things with true artistry that look like you can actually interact with them, because they ARE real.

I know there are a lot of different Peak edits out there that feature "My Way" by Frank Sinatra. This one, however, brought legitimate tears to my eyes.

I love vaporwave; it's a lot of the music I listen to. But sometimes I wonder if listening primarily to vaporwave is affecting how I view life in general. I've always thought of it as an intensely sarcastic genre of music, and considering the firm anti-capitalist stance I've been taking -

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

I've nearly hit the 5000 video limit to my "Watch Later" list. I figured I'd try to delete as many videos as I can to start "culling the herd", but I'm interested in too many damn things. So I've got a slew of instructions/video essays I wanna watch and I have no idea how to trim it down!

I've been thinking a lot about Brian Blessed. I've only ever seen clips of his work, but I feel like I should take some time to watch both "I, Claudius" and "Flash Gordon". I think that might give me the best summation of his acting range.

I had a lot of fun making a PowerPoint presentation for my workplace, and my colleagues seemed to enjoy it too. How silly would it be to make a hobby out of making silly little PowerPoints on various subjects of interest?
