Interest rates linked to RPI as well, a discredited and outdated and higher measure than CPI.
An absolute scandal. Almost if the government deliberately don’t want want people to understand economics

Sorry it’s The Daily Mail, but sums up the problem & anger of places like Harold Hill
Inside Essex estate where homes are boarded up and pub is to close
Frustrated locals say their town has been 'swallowed up' by new regeneration plans as the 'last proper pub' is set to be demolished and the area surrounding it is now a ghost town.

A formal apology from Arsenal would be nice, as it wasn’t t just Martinelli. It was their idiotic manager waving his arms up and down the touchline and fans booing Bradley being stretched off. Shameful all round

Just drove past, Hilldene, Harold Hill shops, mostly shut, flags everywhere, which is shameful on Havering Council. But, the government is allowing these areas, that have been dumped upon in the past, to go Reform, and are seemingly doing nothing about it, so you can understand people’s anger

Yes, no acknowledgment that George Osborne’s needless austerity, Michael Gove’s education reforms and Gavin Williamson’s absolute calamity of running education during Covid, may have worsened the mental health crisis amongst young people.

Media narrative that he has worked a miracle at Villa, which is nonsense. New owners have spent a lot.

Cheque book Pep absolutely. Klopp and Slot nowhere near the list, shows what a legend Klopp was in particular.
Arteta has seriously underachieved at Arsenal considering the money he has spent, and can’t remember him having to sell a player of note, unlike Klopp.

Station to Station for me.

They have spent an absolute fortune and sold hardly anybody of note, so they should really be winning it this season, no excuses

Koumas looked good on loan at Birmingham, scored a good goal. Surely, should be in the squad
This season after a good loan at Stoke.

A Burnham/Polanski coalition could be our only hope

Great article, and we should never forgot the great work the Anti-Nazi-League, Rock against Racism, The GLC, and others did in the 70’s & 80s to combat the far right, and how toxic places like London were back then.

£4.60 for a coffee in Costa today, maybe people are fed up with rip off prices, and are staying in instead.

Don’t worry, Starmer will come out with a strong condemnation of Trump, like he did over his comments about London and Khan, oh hang on… he wont
