I wonder what the reaction was like when Hitler died. Did FDR say “I may not have agreed with his views, but he didn’t deserve people celebrating his death”? Reminds me of a few years ago when Charles Manson died and I said “Good riddance” and I got chewed out by someone who is now a former friend.
