All I can say is thank goodness for school lunches provided to me free of charge as a child. No child deserves to be hungry. And no child deserves to be made to feel shame because of their ability to access food.
I grew up in a house where there wasn’t always “lunch”
food and I went “home for lunch” so no one would know we didn’t have muesli bars or little bags of chips or fruit or sometimes not bread for marmite sandwiches. I don’t imagine the shame of that has changed in the last 40 years.

This is why I deleted TikTok. 5 minutes on the app and I am depressed and angry.
People never believe me but the comments you get on Youtube or TikTok are so much worse than ANYTHING you get on Twitter. I can post a video of me saying literally anything and more than likely within an hour I've had my first comment saying "god you're ugly".
