This isn't just affecting games hosted on itchio...
Comics, books, zones, etc with these tags are also no longer searchable. This is going to impact indie scenes across the board if not challenged!

so itchio has shadowbanned any games tagged with 'nsfw', 'adult', or 'erotic' so they don't show up in searches, and several devs have reported that their r18 games have been removed from the site with no warning

Remember, what is "smut" or "adult content" has always had VERY loose boundaries where conservatives are concerned. It is a small step for them from outright porn to anything that they deem "inappropriate"... including queer themes and identities. You HAVE to hold the line for everyone.
Even if you don't purchase smut, it should be common sense that the right for anyone else to obtain it shouldn't be completely up to modern day crusaders and credit card payment processors.

A favorite from “how to train your dragon”, wanted to draw a Typhoomerang! Gave it some heavier musculature and a thicker neck to support a horned head. These guys are really cool- in no small part because they’re huge!

I know there's dozens of things to contact reps about every single day, but today please contact them about keeping USPS independent. Privatizing USPS would be devastating for so many reasons, but personally it would destroy my small business if I can't have affordable/accessible service. 5calls.org
