[In the internal voice of Spock] "Mother, how I love you."
A child Spock staring at his mother Amanda Grayson as they hug one another. They appear to be on their knees in a living room. Amanda is staring out into space, not looking at Spock. The room around them is only represented by two items: A cabinet and a desk, both stuffed with finery. The rest of the room is pitch black. A thick black border separates Spock and his mother from the rest of the room, like they were placed on top of it rather than existing within it. A black hole is depicted between them, as if they're both holding that absence tight as well. Same as the first image except Amanda's body is entirely black, blending into the background as if she's been cut out of the picture. Spock holds her absence and is held by it regardless.

I've made it a personal goal to stop using the term "content" when referring to media made by artists. The word implies mass-produced filler and calling someone's hard work their "content" has started to feel kinda like an insult. Like human art made strictly for quick consumption

I think the fundamental gap here is that non-creative people think that creative people make things for the end product, when in fact it’s the act of creation and not the end point that makes it worthwhile.
