Very pleased the Governor included my proposal in her State of the State briefing book for a revolving loan for building housing in NY State. I think $1.5 billion would be a good start - waiting to see what she proposes.

LA is actually about a million units short which is why we urgently need a study program to examine the possibility of a potential social housing pilot program for a few dozen units in industrial areas by the freeway
the idea that LA county's housing shortage was only 380k homes seems way off.

seattle's affordable housing shortage was 194k just a few years ago - and our metro area is a third the population

Today's victory in our lawsuit against Milton is a BIG step forward in our work to address the unacceptably high cost of housing for Massachusetts residents.

The highest court in Massachusetts agrees: the MBTA Communities Law is mandatory, not voluntary.

there's a particular type of progressive opportunism that's like "yes, Mr Hitler1488 says that the Jews control the banks, but what his followers are really angry about is financial inequality and opaqueness! We can tap into that!"

You can't. It's poisoned soil.

There should be a list of diseases such as polio and measles where if your child is able to be vaccinated, is not vaccinated, and gets sick and dies of them, we prosecute you for murder.
“What might it look like to open the Democratic tent to vaccine-skeptical Americans, of which there are a growing number?”

We saw this in the early 2010s in crunchy Marin suburbs! It sucked! Measles came back!
