This means that the judge found that the plaintiffs (AAMC, et al.) are likely to win on the merits when the ruling is finalized.

I'm very happy that we at @nature.com published this editorial denouncing Trump's assault on science 🧪 www.nature.com/articles/d41...
Trump 2.0: an assault on science anywhere is an assault on science everywhere
US President Donald Trump is taking a wrecking ball to science and to international institutions. The global research community must take a stand against these attacks.

Texas measles outbreak update: 124 cases, 18 hospitalized, & now the first death of a child, who was not vaccinated.

Tragic, preventable, & a direct consequence of the deadly lies spread by anti-vaxx grifters, one of whom is now the most powerful health official in the US.

Never heard of Matthew Memoli?

Until recently, I hadn't either.

But he's the acting director behind the ongoing illegal shutdown at NIH. This Atlantic story gets into the weeds to explain why everything is still jammed up.

Don’t just say DEI as if it’s a bad word. Spell it out.

Say diversity, which is the lifeblood of American society & culture & innovation.

Say equity, which a just society should pursue.

Say inclusion, because decent people believe in increasing belonging, not isolating people who are different.

1. Today the NIH director issued a new directive slashing overhead rates to 15%.

I want to provide some context on what that means and why it matters.
