That’s by design. Billionaires monetize rage bait, and it has the added bonus of keeping us fighting with each other while they rob us blind. But one day soon, all the anger from the culture wars they’ve cultivated to distract us from the class war will be turned on them.
One of the biggest revelations of the social media age imo is how much people are addicted to getting mad, so much so that they'll actively create reasons when there are none.

Their own constituents use SNAP too. Just like the ACA tax credits.
But they have no empathy for their OWN constituents.
