The room the British monarch gets dressed in before the opening of parliament speech has a copy of Charles I’s death warrant hanging in it.
In my ideal world, we threw Nixon in jail and hung some document about that above the door the president comes in to give the state of the union.

Laws without consequences, and the Constitution is after all just the supreme law, have no force. You have to enforce them. There has to be punishment for violating them. It needs to be a real disincentive and warning to others. That's what law is, the application of the state's monopoly on force.
