Such an annoying critique of big infrastructure plans - 'but it'll take years for it to be built/make a difference'. Yes! That's why stuff needs to get started & why governments need to look beyond one political cycle. Otherwise we just end up 20 years later in the same position.

Just 10% of 18-24 year olds think it was the right decision.

We have never had access to as much evidence based thinking than we do now, but it turns out it wasn’t as interesting as a flat earth or a moon hoax - I don’t see a way back now - we can just work hard to bring happiness and support where we can
