This is also what happens to pregnant women and their babies when they fall for snake-oil treatments for preeclampsia.

Nature bats last.
The physical world still exists and eventually ideas formed in the mass hallucination chamber of social media will collide with it, even for the people in the grips of the hallucinations. And when that happens a lot of people will die.

Pregnancy is a life-threatening condition.
While pregnant, Tierra Walker had a cascade of health complications that threatened her life.

Of more than 90 doctors who were involved in her care, not one offered her an abortion, according to medical records.

I see a lot of Paidchecks on X didn’t realize that a whole lot of people on social media lie about their location to grift off the naïveté of the rage-addled American right.

Turns out this problem is real and it’s a thing those of us who worked on “disinformation” pointed out.

Gentile had been sentenced to 7 years for his role in a $1.6B scheme that defrauded thousands of investors.

Fuckin people watching Netflix making prop bets on what minute of the episode we’re first gonna see Vecna. People betting on whether it’s gonna be a Toyotathon commercial or an Activia commercial. Just a little QR code in the bottom corner of every show asking you to bet on everything.

Ukraine already tried giving up land for Russia’s word to stop attacking, with the Minsk Agreements of 2014-15. Russia violated them with a full scale invasion in 2022.

Why would Ukraine think land for peace would work this time, especially when a Putin-sympathetic US won’t do security guarantees?
Secretary of State Marco Rubio says that if Ukraine takes the right steps, its GDP could surpass Russia’s within 10 years.

"They are literally fighting over a 30-50 km strip in Donetsk, roughly 20% of the region still under Ukrainian control and now a central issue in negotiations."
