A friend introduced me to Nexus Alpha earlier this year. It's been slow progress, but they're deeply enjoyable reads. I can't fit all my thoughts about NA into 300 chars, but suffice to say they were the impetus for /a lot/ of introspection.

At some point I'm going to have to figure out this ADHD thing. Spending three hours rewriting someone else's program for my own use was not a productive way to spend my time
I haven't done what I'm supposed to do (yet) but I have had what feels like a remarkably productive day.
I think I am being thrown the bone that I hoped and prayed for earlier in the week

but organizationally the bigger issue is that it is very difficult to make a coalition that isn’t susceptible to being hijacked by entryism. that isn’t solely a left problem, you can see this in what happened to “abundance” this year

rhetorically the challenge is making an appeal that ties inclusiveness and equity to the fact that we are a rich and technically advanced country that has an enormous capacity to better the lives of many more people than we currently do….and conservatives are for burning it all to ground

My point is that we are engaged in a fundamentally moral argument about how society ought to be, not a factual argument about how reality is. I am very wise. Now, if you'll excuse me, I forgot to bring underpants and socks on a trip to Glasgow so I have to go and buy some.
It seems pointless to fact check someone saying "curry isn't proper British food like fish and chips", just like it's futile to correct someone saying "there are no pronouns in the Bible". They haven't made a mistake. What they're saying is, "Britain is a white country".
