So here's a thing. I help run my local food bank, and we're doing this: 12 Days of Christmas Giving.

It's the busiest time of year for us and we have to build up our stocks right through December.

I know you're not in N4, but all food banks are in the same boat, so if you can help please do! 🙏🎄

Recent research showed that a huge proportion (87%) of Brits rely on hanging wet clothes inside their homes – and they’re unknowingly causing serious issues.

A study by the University of Manchester found that drying a wet load of washing indoors can release two litres of water into your home.
The mould truth: Expert warns Brits of one common habit that brings damp into their homes

To call something corrupt assumes a background of norms of proper behaviour. What’s so giddying about Trump’s blatant self-enrichment is that he doesn’t even seem to acknowledge that background norms exist.

Are people meant to sit looking sad all the time?

What does the Express want them to do?
A reminder that the Daily Express' last editor but one, apologised for its "anti-immigrant" coverage which he said had meant "I just couldn't sleep" at night.

No such sleepless nights for his successor then

The only way these people think you can counter Reform is by emulating them.

Countering them with facts or a heartfelt defence of our humanitarian obligations has never been an option.
This is as bad as anything proposed by Reform.

Leaving refugees in permanent limbo and unable to build a new life in the UK would be a complete abdication of our humanitarian responsibilities

Shabana Mahmood is expected to say the era of permanent protection for refugees is over, in major changes to the UK's asylum and immigration system.

I'm getting reports that a firm is cold calling people "offering grants for renewables and quoting that MARTIN LEWIS had encouraged people to engage with the company."

The call is UTTER BOLLOCKS! This is not true. Don't trust them. Politely disengage and don't speak to them.

Astonishing advance by the Greens, astonishing implosion of Labour. When will Starmer's government get the message that it is destroying its base with deeply unpopular, rightwing policies?

By chasing Reform, it legitimises the far right while delegitimising itself.
Latest poll puts Greens just two points behind Labour. When I said we weren't here to be disappointed in Labour but to replace them, I meant it.
