I’m a new fan…

One of the most improbable stories in classical music history: not because they are Black, but because they are seven siblings in one family of virtuosos.

The parents of the award winning Kanneh-Masons deserve an award too.

This has always been a Bluesky-first campaign. But as of today, we will no longer be using Twitter. At all.

And I'm calling on other candidates to follow suit.

IUPAT President @jimmy-iupat.bsky.social is right:

Temporary Protected Status recipients are rigorously vetted, pay taxes, and do work in critical industries. They are part of our communities and our unions—they deserve respect and protection.

America’s unions will keep fighting for them.

AOC: I want to remind you where the real crime is. It's in the oligarchs taking $170 billion of our money from health care and food assistance and public programs and taking that and funneling it into a secret police program.

Another day. Another mass shooting. Watching students at Brown who survived high school mass shootings reliving a similar horror in college is heartbreaking. The lack of gun control has failed an entire generation of children, some now adults. My heart goes out to the families grieving tonight.

I need you to listen to and share this story - of how Trump is preparing to abandon Ukraine in exchange for Russian money for his billionaire friends.

It could be the greatest corruption of American foreign policy in our history. Russia gets Ukraine. Trump's friends get rich.

Reagan waged war against the middle class & working people. He started taxing unemployment & social security. Voodoo economics is what propelled the billionaire class. The wealthy & corporations have not paid their fair share in taxes for decades. He busted unions and more. Rethugs perpetuate this.

I first came across Lonsdale about a décade ago on a Stanford panel. Bright but convinced of his own entitlement even then. Why are techbros so enamored of retrograde masculinity? This kind of abhorrent, neanderthal view should result in complete ostracization from public interviews.
A Palantir billionaire just called for public hangings.

“It's time to bring back masculine leadership to protect our most vulnerable,” writes Joe Lonsdale.

This is where Silicon Valley authoritarianism is heading:
