Adding to the increasing global threat to women's reproductive rights, new UK police guidance allows officers to search women’s homes, phones, & health apps after a miscarriage or stillbirth.

This isn't about protecting life.

It's about controlling women.

In 1970 someone in the richest 0.01% was 42x richer than the average person.

In 2000 they were 600x richer than the average person.

Now it is over 2000x.

Making the rich richer, makes YOU poorer.

One thing you notice as a feminist is that feminism gets linked to, and implicitly blamed, for every malignant political force or failure. Feminism becomes a collaborator with empire, a driver of neoliberalism, a motivator for the carceral state. Malignant and all powerful, yet never defined.

🚨Huge, dangerous developments getting little coverage.

1. DOJ has killed off its anti-corruption unit. It seized billions in assets from corrupt Russian oligarchs.

2. FBI's Foreign Influence Task Force has been disbanded. It fights foreign interference in US democracy.

Good to see the Sec. for Transport acknowledging that "we are in a climate crisis" & promoting cycle lanes/active transport... but shame on Labour to have agreed to a London City Airport expansion, against the CCC's advice!
Refreshing to see a less...hostile approach to walking and cycling 🚶🚴

It's pretty simple. To get good health and climate outcomes from road transport, we need to be thinking and investing in a range of solutions not relying on one. This is positive!
