This was one of Trump's very worst moments. And that is saying something.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

The way things are going, I wouldn't be too surprised if the Trump administration did a missile strike on US soil before the 2028 election.

Perhaps in a suburban building in a blue city (Seattle or Portland?), where they say a ‘Hamas-sympathising antifa cell’ was planning an attack, or something.

Casually announcing plans to murder American citizens for wrongthink.
My gosh. After the US bombed multiple boats in the middle of the ocean, murdering people on grounds that they were allegedly "carrying drugs," the US Attorney General says "Just like we did with cartels, we're going to take the same approach, President Trump, with Antifa."

What Do We Have To Lose
If Keir Starmer won’t even make a moral case against deporting our friends and neighbours, then what is the point of him? Plus: some natural borders; and the non-existence of grey, and other letters.

It’s always ‘we don’t have a problem with *legal* migrants’, right before targeting legal migrants.

It was also just incredibly shortsighted because if your second or third thought in response to 10/7 wasn’t “oh my god they’re probably going to kill so many fucking people in response to this”, you’re either dumb or awful. I don’t have any special expertise on the conflict and I knew that!
I actually think it's extremely difficult to qualify whether certain activist actions "hurt the cause" or whatever; really my objection to the way some acquaintances of mine reacted following 10/7 is that it revealed a careless appetite for violence that made me never really wanna get closer to them

You're living through a major technological revolution right now and it has nothing to do with AI.

The United States is in danger of missing it and getting left behind because our corrupt President wants us to be buyers-of-last-resort for fossil fuels owned by his paymasters in KSA and Russia.
China's July 2025 solar production was ~50% higher than its July 2024 solar output!

China's solar generated 839 TWh in 2024 and will likely exceed 1,200 TWh in 2025.

China's solar will generate in 2025 an amount of electricity equal to about 27% of USA's electricity demand. #energysky

Pro-Israeli apologists for their crimes, seeking to portray every critic (including Jewish ones like me) as anti-Semites, often will ask, "Do you believe Israel has a right to exist?" My answer is "Do you believe these murdered Palestinian children had a right to exist?"
The head of Gaza's largest hospital on Tuesday said 21 children have died due to malnutrition and starvation in the Palestinian territory in the past three days, while Israel pressed a devastating assault ➡️ u.afp.com/Sgkj

The Plot to Enslave America
Trump’s project to eliminate opposition media outlets and figures comes straight from Orban. The playbook is to:

- Use the law to force media owners to sell their companies to pro-regime oligarchs

- Assert control over (or defund) public media

It’s not censorship, it’s pro-regime oligarchy.

This thread is incredibly gross to see all together.

It’s one thing to “know.”

It’s a whole other thing to look at all of this in the middle of Trump acting guilty about the Epstein files - and to see the birthday card in light of these other stories detailing things he said.
ok everyone's seen the trump with epstein photos by now, after years of the media pretending they didn't exist. good progress. next step is making sure everyone who is like "uh this all is sketchy but surely the president isn't literally a pedophile" sees this gross photo
