I'll be honest, the "End Racism" thing in the endzones was the emptiest of empty gestures for an organization that chased a Black man out of the league for protesting the police murdering Black people, and where one of the teams in the Superbowl is named the Chiefs and whose fans do a Tomahawk Chop.

The horribly destructive wildfires sweeping through Los Angeles County neighborhoods have become fodder for irresponsible, fact-free finger pointing, mostly aimed at Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Gov. Gavin Newsom. cal.news/40jIpHs

As LA fires rage, Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass are targets in the blame game
Gov. Gavin Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass couldn't have prevented wind-propelled flames from igniting homes and businesses around the city.

It’s true that most of what’s in this report is familiar. But it’s still such an important document to have out in the world - in particular in light of efforts, of which we’re likely to see more, to rewrite the history of January 6

This!
Everything posted on the Internet is public and also there is wisdom in understanding that just because something is public doesn't mean you are meant to be a part of it. People speaking to each other on the street is public and you might overhear it, but it doesn't mean they want you to contribute.
I dunno, I assume anything posted to the public internet is, well public

Maybe a dumb thing but it's saved me some produce costs: when buying bagged salad look for the flattest bag. Puffiness level is due to the gasses the leaves etc. give off as they start to decay. In general flattest bags are the freshest.
