My wish for 2026 is the de-construction and complete shutdown of the internationally-based troll accounts on social media. Here in the states, we're feeling extra divided because India or Russsian businesses are fanning the flames, and most of us are too uneducated to even realize that fact.

Although Louis Wain (1860-1939) is best known for his cat illustrations, he also seems to have had an affection for owls as this pleasantly spooky picture complete with rhyme 'The Owls sit in council like prophets of Fate'.....demonstrates. #owlishmonday

As a Lake County native (half of the blue dot in the upper corner), I'm outraged and not even a little bit surprised.

Voter suppression isn't new, it just shows the cracks of the facade that we've had a democracy. We don't. We haven't for a long time- it's how Trump got here in the first place.
