Yes. The bacterium is ancient and likely jumped around continents. The disease recognition happened largely by chance due to a cluster of cases, like hantavirus later on.

I’m going to be clear. In my opinion, none of these people can be trusted. Prasad and Hoeg made their careers out of an agenda to take down COVID19 vaccines.
It is so incredibly dangerous to have these people at the FDA. They are a threat to the entire U.S. vaccination program.

Thanks for this thorough and substantive rebuttal. As a data scientist, suggest citing "hazard ratio" rather than "rate": "Children who received MMR vaccine had an autism [hazard ratio] of 0.93 compared to unvaccinated children" and "autism [hazard ratio] was 0.93 per milligram of aluminum".
