I am less optimistic than @ilangoldenberg.bsky.social. I think it will undoubtedly make it worse, inflaming more hatred against Jews. It’s hard not to suspect that’s a feature, not a bug of many related steps the administration is taking.
1. This decision to cut millions in funding to Columbia is dangerous and not going to help counter antisemitism on campus. If anything it might just make the problem worse.
