It's really frustrating to exist in a world where passion is uncool and so passion is often taken as self-righteousness. I don't think I'm better than other people, in fact I've descended back into hating myself, largely because of the way I've been treated for caring about things.

Had delicatta squash for the first time and I was stoked not to have to peel it but then I hated eating the crunchy peel. 😩 So now I'm annoyed because it was absolutely delicious other than the peel I'm gonna have to take off next time.
