No council, or councillor, has the right to "ban" any books. The library service are the only body that makes decisions on stock selection. A councillor, as a member of the public, can *request* books are removed on a title-by-title basis, but the reply should come that under @cilip.bsky.social

I called my Republican representative's office back this morning (I called yesterday to ask that he vote no) and said that since he voted for it, I will forward all my medical bills to his office if/when I lose my insurance. And I suggest that others do the same. Make them see what they've done.

Reminder that words matter. You can’t “deport” a US citizen. You might be kidnapping, disappearing, exiling, expelling, illegally removing, etc., but you’re not “deporting” a US citizen.

been working on writing the sequel to Small Gods of Calamity (draft title is just "Calamity 2") but my brain keeps spitting out scenes for the book that comes AFTER this one instead. Is this the correct way to try and write a trilogy?? 🤖💦 #writing
