The United States is proving to be the only country in the world in which not only is a pedophile, seditionist its leader but is protected by a major political party.

The country is sick.

The Democrats missed multiple opportunities to highlight clean energy programs, such as this one, that were funded by Biden’s infrastructure bill. Too many still regard environmentalism as a far-left proclivity, but that hasn't been the case for many years. This misconception has cost them votes.

The Trump regime, Republicans in general, and the fossil fuel and energy companies that finance them do not want Americans to become energy independent, which is why they HATE small-scale solar programs and do everything they can to kill them.

Native American tribes across the Northern Plains were looking forward to getting reliable, renewable power through President Biden's Solar for All initiative. Now, with electricity costs soaring, Trump has canceled the program.

Negligent homicide at least, if he didn't intend to kill her. Gun owners are legally responsible for the safe handling and storage of their weapons, and things can easily go wrong with a semiautomatic pistol in the hands of an inexperienced/careless/inebriated person.

In a major defeat for Mike Johnson, 3 House Republicans bucked their leaders to block legislation that would have restricted Congress' ability to strike down Trump’s tariffs.

The final tally was 214-217, with 3 Republicans joining Democrats in opposition.

Bloomington police have done it again. The the guy in charge of background checks for ICE recruits turns out to be a sex trafficker. Why aren’t more local police conducting these stings where ICE has invaded? It’s a target-rich environment!

When I got the contract to write a history of concentration camps in 2014, I hoped to keep the US from ending up here. That didn't work out! But now it's critical to understand how much is already in process and the enormity of what's coming. The sooner we act to stop it, the more people we'll save.

But when I saw commenters posting "Shame on these staffers for removing the brochures"β€”which none of them didβ€”it was vital to correct the record.

The civil servants who work at these sites are under enough strain and pressure these days as it is.

The last thing they need is to be accused of doing things they didn't do or "complying" with orders they didn't receive.

These aren't partisan lackeys who work at these sites.

There's no long-term benefit to anyone, economic or otherwise, from propping up a massively destructive and dying industry that the rest of the world is phasing out.
