We reconstructed parental haplotypes in >440k individuals (UK & Estonian biobanks) to estimate assortative mating directly in the parental generation.
This reveals intensified assortment in recent generations.

Netherlands study of 55,000 adults found higher inflammation (CRP) linked to more negative mood, anxiety, and slower thinking.

Genetic data also suggest CRP and GlycA may play a causal role in negative affect.

When using multiple imputation to account for missing data we often use auxiliary variables (variables included in the imputation model but not the analysis model) to 1) reduce bias and 2) improve statistical efficiency.
