They are - literally - sending armed forces so as to take over the museums and libraries.
NEW — Keith Sonderling, Trump’s Deputy Secretary of Labor, has been named the Acting Director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), an agency source tells me. He’ll arrive tomorrow at their office with DOGE and their security detail.

But this isn’t a done deal yet.

With at least a year before cuts come into force, there’s still time for the UK government to rethink.

Cruel cuts to disability support: the Prime Minister needs to hear from your MP

Princess Elizabeth writes to her sister Queen Mary today in 1554, begging for an audience after she learned that she was being sent to the Tower. She scored the rest of the paper to prevent forged additions.

This is truly shameful. Even China and Iran abstained. The US has put itself in the company of some of the worst states in the world - Russia, Belarus, North Korea. Hungary showing its true colours as Russia's Trojan horse in the EU as well.
The United States just voted with Russia against peace in Ukraine.

Zelensky is perhaps the defining figure of our age. Brave, ingenious, pragmatic and defined by his convictions. They hate him because he kills fascists.

Check it out folks, as the author says, you might not think these are all positive. But you should have heard of them all, and I certainly hadn't. We need to know what the government is actually doing, not just what matches the narrative of the British press
Almost everything you hear about the Government is filtered through the framing of the British press.

But what is already clear after six months of Keir Starmer’s administration is that they don’t treat all governments equally...

If he'd not been forced to resign in disgrace, Boris Johnson could still be Prime Minister right now based on the 2019 General Election; under UK law he wouldn't have had to call another election until next Tuesday, 28th January.

Blue Monday is a piece of crap pseudo science originally part of a travel company's press release to sell holidays.

Can we all try to avoid rewarding marketeers, using this term, which tries to sell goods by parasiting on the back of real mental health campaigns.

4/ So, WHAT IS IT? Well, on Xmas Eve 2011 people started sending me photos of their sleeping arrangements, often compromised by there being Too Many People At The Inn And Not Enough Beds. I reposted them. A few years later it was given the hashtag #duvetknowitschristmas by someone funnier than me.
