I have said before and will say again that it is such a loss that we no longer get covers of this caliber for fantasy books.

I can't think of anything sillier than the current batch (it's always simmering and mutating in the background) of "Dnd bad".
There have been so many academic eyes turned to Odnd over the years, most works interesting/enlightening.

In Pilgrim’s Passages I am concerned about the out-of-balance spirits wreaking havoc in the valley for sure. But if my hat gets a hole in it I am gonna be furious.
I’ll bite. Pilgrim’s Passages is out in Open Beta. It’s my house system about Pilgrims traveling from place to place, creating art, and helping the communities they visit. I think the game is rather unique and I’d love more eyes on it. It’s also PWYW!

Been playing PP with Monday and it’s really great. Manages to feel like a detailed backpacking simulator while also leaving room for whimsy and problem solving outside the system. A lot of games handwave the tough work of travel to “get to the adventure.” in PP the travel is the good stuff.
